It is matured for 3 years in low temperature. The great flavor of the rice is concentrated in this sake. It is aiming for the top level of the Ginjo sake class. The writing on the label is the beginning of "The Tale of the Heike". The sentence starting with "Gionshosha…" is one of the most famous sentences in Japanese classics. Elegant notes of caramel and coconut meld seamlessly with a soft, creamy rice savouriness and hints of coconut. It is best served chilled but can also be served at room temperature. Avoid serving warm.
低温で3年熟成。米の旨味が凝縮されています。吟醸酒の粋を極めたお酒を目指しています。山田錦35%精米(掛米は40%
精米)。
搾られてから新酒では発売せず、低温で1年半〜2年程氷温熟成させてから蔵出しとなります。柔らかな米の旨味。
ラベルの文章は平家物語の文頭。「祗園精舎の…」は古典でも馴染み深い一節です。
